Since it's launch in april 2009 Agartha Online proven to be a fun and entertaining game , atracting more than 1000 regisrtations untill today .
'''''Agartha Online''''' is a free browser based game (massively multiplayer online game) in the strategy genre produced and maintained by a group of independent developers. The game is set in a world of fantasy, with players being made rulers of a small town, which they must expand and lead.
== Gameplay ==
The game is easy to play as there are not any difficult decisions to take at the beginning of the game . Also , a new player can read the tutorials and the FAQ for the game for almost any problem that he faces . The game is centered around combat , with different types of units to choose from . A newly formed army can be lead in defense or offense by a hero that the player can summon . Heroes have abilities , spells and talents that combined together will bring an edge over the battlefield .
Beside the army and heroes , the player can use his thieves by sending them in covert operations . Missions can range from simple spying missions to thievery , assassinations or sabotage . As the game has four individual races , playing with the elves will give you an advantage because of their enhanced thieves . Players that choose humans will have improved defense and technologies that aid them in their settlement defenses . Playing with orcs means that you are an active player that his main development path is the attack or you can choose to play with the dwarfs and have many resources at your disposal to use them as you see fit .
Also , a player can choose to improve his settlements , army or thieves by researching different technologies which are split into three technology trees . Researching can take from a few minutes to some weeks depending on how advanced is the technology they are researching .

''Agartha'' is nominally free-to-play but players may opt to purchase in-game advantages by a scheme of Microtransactions that will allow them to buy Game Points which are used to buy different in-game bonuses . With the generated income , the hosting and the people that work for the game , will be payed .
== Alliances ==
On building an Hall of Treaties, one can join or found an alliance. Alliances are groups of players who work together. They will usually protect each other. If an alliance member is attacked by another player, the whole alliance, or stronger members in the alliance will intervene and will ward off the attacker. If you are the leader of the alliance, how many members you can have in your alliance depends on your Hall of Treaties level. Also , there is an in-game forum system that allows allies to communicate more easily .
