Bigpoint cooperates with Orange in France
(19.09.2008, 13:07:16) The Hamburg-based company Bigpoint GmbH has entered into a media partnership with Orange S.A., the French telecommunications company of the French Télécom corporation.
Effective immediately, Orange S.A. will offer the well-known browser games from Bigpoint on its media portal jeu.orange.fr to the French fans of multiplayer online games (MMOGs). With the extended offer of multiple browser games, Orange wants to address core gamers who are especially interested in long-term games - in real time and without downloads.
"The cooperation with Orange is another important media cooperation with one of the world's leading telecommunications companies," say Heiko Hubertz, founder and Managing Director of Bigpoint. "We are very happy about the partnership with Orange, because it is an important step with regard to our international expansion. By offering our games, we are helping Orange to strengthen their gaming community on their portal. On the other hand, with this partnership we are gaining access to the French gaming market, which is one of the most important markets in Europe for browser games.
