FirmFootball final launch

(15.04.2008, 17:24:46) Finally, after almost a full year of development, months of testing, hundreds of bug fixes and many long days of working, today is finally the day Webgamic proudly presents the official launch of one of the biggest browsergames ever: FirmFootball.

In FirmFootball, players take on the role of leader of a small band of hooligans. They lead these hooligans through their life of drinking, vandalizing, stealing, and fighting with the supporters of other clubs, while they try to rise in the ranks of their own Firm.

With this game, Webgamic has attempted to push the browser to its limits, and it is one of the first games that introduces real-time combat elements in a browsergame. It also has a massive world, consisting of up to 25 cities, each with multiple areas full of buildings that can be torched, vandalized, destroyed, but also owned and built to increase the funds available to the Firm and its football club.

There are also a lot of options to keep players busy, ranging from mugging other players to smuggling goods, torching buildings to brewing your own drinks and building your very own corporation.

And of course, there is a lot of room for combat, where dozens of players at a time can kick real-time ass in fights, complete with the ability to chat with their friends and taunt their enemies!

So come all, and join in a world of chaos and destruction, and earn the right to call yourself Hooligan. Registrations are completely free and open as of today, so there's no excuse for not signing up!

(16.04.2008, 17:26:39) Endlich, nach fast einem Jahr Entwicklung, Monaten des Testens, hunderten von Bugfixen und vielen langen Arbeitstagen ist heute der Tag gekommen, an dem Webgamic stolz den Start seines bisher aufwändigsten Browsergames verkünden kann: FirmFootball.

FirmFootball startet Beta

(10.01.2008, 21:44:19) Nach einer ausgiebigen Alpha-Phase und jeder Menge Bugs und Frust ist es endlich so weit, gestern ist die Beta von FirmFootball gestartet! Die ersten Spieler haben schon wieder damit begonnen sich in der rauen Welt der Hooligans einen Namen zu machen, es sieht also durchaus vielversprechend aus.
