High School Basketball Revolutionized
(31.05.2007, 00:54:26) High School Basketball has been revamped for a new and VERY exciting format. For the first time ever we will have 1 super region with 256 high school teams. After a 14 game conference schedule, the season will end with an unprecidented 256 team national tournament broken down into regionals, sectionals and nationals.
No more checking out you buddies in different regions, or trying to keep track of which region your favorite teams are in, you can check it out all in the high school league!
Not only that but the 256 teams are split up so that games play at 4 different times through out the day. Morning games (8AM - Noon EST) / afternoon games (noon - 4 EST) / evening games (4 - 8 EST) / night games (8 - Midnight EST), will all be available so you can find a team that plays during a time of day that best fits for your schedule. Because teams were randomly moved to time slots you may find that a team you have been coaching is in a time slot not good for you. For the next 48 hrs you can contact the personel manager Brian Hicks(brianhicks on sitemail) and he will release you from your team. You can then select a team that fits the time area you want. The conferences are named after the times they play at.
One of the great affects of this is that all high school chat is now in one chat room! So be sure to check out the high school league page and get involved in chat. Lets make our high school league as successful as our college!
These changes are all in effect now, and the new season for high school basketball will start on June 4th just 5 days away. Good luck to all of you as we prepare to crown our first high school national champion!
