Sven Ossenbrüggen joins executive Board of InnoGames
(24.04.2010, 11:40:11) Sven Ossenbrüggen (40) strengthens the management of the German online company InnoGames with immediate effect. As the developer and publisher of browser based online games stated today, Ossenbrüggen will join the company as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and will be responsible for finances as well as strategic development.
Mr. Ossenbrüggen has been chairman of the board at gamigo AG from 2007 to 2009. Within his leadership, the corporation became one of the leading publishers of Massive Multiplayer Online Games (MMOG) in Europe. From 1997 to 2007, Mr. Ossenbrüggen was partner for the finance investor bmp, responsible for the online media department.
„Sven Ossenbrüggen is a high quality recruitment for InnoGames. His long-time experience and his know-how will give a further boost to our dynamic growth. Our position as a publisher of third-party games will be improved by his knowledge in the marketing of Asian role-playing games”, InnoGames CEO Michael Zillmer explains. Mr. Zillmer founded InnoGames in 2007 together with Eike and Hendrik Klindworth.
With about 40 million players in more than 200 countries, InnoGames is one of the biggest developers and publishers of browser based online games. Those can be played in the internet browser; neither a download nor any further software installation is needed. Browsergames are generally free to play and get more and more popular.
