Former president of eRomania becomes eRepublik’s new community manager
(08.06.2010, 11:39:13) eRepublik has announced today that it has appointed Mihai Adamut (a.k.a. the_Mihai), former president of eRomania, as its new Community Manager.
Mihai has 12 years of previous marketing and community management experience in several executive positions within Sanoma Hearst Romania and Ringier Romania publishing groups as well as in Insomar, a Romanian research company.
“Mihai is our perfect candidate for the community manager position. Besides having an impressive professional experience despite his youth, he is a very experienced eRepublik citizen with an astounding career in the New World”, comments Alexis Bonte, Co-Founder and CEO of eRepublik. “Mihai has been an active member of our community since the Beta version times, he has tested all aspects of the game, won all the medals available and treasures over 1,400 friends within the game. He will understand, like not many others, the needs and aspirations of his fellow e-citizens and help eRepublik progress towards being the New World they dream of”, ends Bonte.
the_Mihai served four terms as Mayor (during the beta), eight terms as Party President (6 consecutive terms), seven terms as Congressman, one in the Romanian Ministry of Labor and two consecutive terms as President of eRomania. He was the first eRomanian citizen to win the Media Mogul award for reaching over 1,000 subscribers to his newspaper. As a whole he has received over fifty medals in eRepublik’s public version as recognition for his progresses within the game.
“I am a huge fan of the game and becoming a part of the eRepublik team is like a dream come true for me. Moreover, I think that helping the New World reach its highest potential while working from the inside is also a great professional opportunity” states Mihai Adamut.
“Among my first objectives I’ll focus on improving the customer support ratings, the game experience and the daily interaction among players within the New World. For this, my passion and my own life as a citizen of eRepublik will certainly prove to be as important as my past professional experience”.
