Now available in Bulgarian, Croatian, Greek, Serbian and Turkish

(11.03.2010, 10:38:56) eRepublik has announced today that its interface is now fully functional in five new languages: Bulgarian, Croatian, Greek, Serbian and Turkish.

The game, originally designed in English, launched its Spanish in June 2009 and in the following months added French, German, Russian, Portuguese and Polish.

By the end of February, all five countries (Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Serbia and Turkey) were among the top 30 countries in eRepublik’s visits per country ranking.

“Our team has kept working steadily towards offering the best game experience possible to our citizens and the localization of our interface and tools into these five new languages shows how important this is for us”, comments Alexis Bonte, Co-Founder and CEO of eRepublik.

“Collaborative game play and social interaction are key elements of eRepublik and they are always richer and deeper when players can use their own language,” ends Bonte.

“There will be more languages added over the coming months so that eRepublik is fully accessible to any player from any corner of the world,” states George Lemnaru, Co-Founder and COO of eRepublik. “We are making sure that when we release the new economic and military modules later this year, our players will be able to fully enjoy them from the beginning.”

eRepublik recently hit the one million citizens’ (registered users) mark only 15 months after releasing its public version and reached the 2 million unique visitors per month landmark in January 2010. In that same month www.erepublik.com received over 11 million visits and 260 million page views. In addition, during January, citizens spent over 174 million minutes navigating the eRepublik world.
